Back to speedworld, again.. ASCC Inaugural race.

In 2009 Short Course racing finally returned to Arizona with the start of the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series; However local Arizona racers and fans hungered for more. Now in 2010 a new series founded by an Arizona racer, Tim Jones, and with lot of help from other racers and fans; He has created the Arizona Short Course Championship. The Inaugural ASCC race took place on Friday and Saturday February 26th and 27th, at Speedworld Offroad Park in beautiful Surprise, Arizona. Action started Friday with practice and a trophy dash. With entries a bit low due to the race being the weekend before the first LOORRS race of the season, it didn’t stop racers and fans alike from having a great time and experiencing some of the most exciting short course action Arizona has to offer
