Bryce Menzies is not the only one on fire with a sweep of the Unlimited 2 class, Tempers flare as AZ Loorrs action ingnites!

Once again The Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series or LOORRS invades Suprise, Arizona's Speedworld Motorsports Park. The race took place on two days, Saturday and Sunday. Practice and Qualifying was held on Friday, all day. It was a hot weekend with temps in the triple digits. Here is the story of the race weekend.

Friday

Practice started at 10am, each class was given a few laps to test their equipment. Some racers ended up pushing to hard however. For the race I devised a plan to cover the most amount of track in three days and try to stay in the same are for the whole day each day.. On Friday I picked the back stretch before the final turn. Saturday round 9 in the Loorrs season. I decided to shoot in turns 1,2 for Saturday because there were plenty of cool angles to shoot at the same time.

Sunday brought another great day of racing I shot this day in turn 3, on a conveniently placed dirt pile, I could get a lot of cool shots from here, until I got kicked off the pile by a tractor a few hours later.. haha

After the race I took a look at Robbie's shock and someone bumper had messed it up pretty bad..


All in all it was a great weekend of action I took around 5500 photos. I cannot wait for the next race. Loorrs next race will be in primm the season fainalle of Loorrs.
